July 6, 2014: Steve Wins The Phoenix Award!

DeepSouthCon, the Southern regional SF convention (51 years old and going strong!), awards the Phoenix Award to science fiction professionals who have resided in the south, who portray the south positively in their work, or who have demonstrated friendship with southern fandom. Because Steve Jackson has done all three of these things, DeepSouthCon awarded him this year's Phoenix Award! We're all deeply honored and gratified by this, and we'd like to thank DeepSouthCon for honoring Steve in this way.
