The standard d6 is commonly known to have originated during the Bronze Age. But did you know that older dice have been found? Archaeologists uncovered ancient, unique dice in Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico . . . and they were created during the last ice age!

 

CNN shared a fascinating article detailing the specifics of how the dice look, how they were discovered, and how they were used for both gaming and gambling.
