June 19, 2011: Keeping Munchkin On The Shelves

We've talked before about how important it is that we keep Munchkin available at all times, but it feels like no matter what we do, we keep selling through a print run before the next printing arrives. I know, it's a terrible problem to have, and one I'm sure any company would love to take on for us, but it really does cause issues when Ross has to tell distributors, "Sorry, no more Munchkin for three weeks."

But we may have finally beaten that problem. Why do I say that? Because at the moment we have five containers of games on the ocean, and as soon as the new Munchkin Deluxe arrives, we'll have two different fantasy Munchkin core sets for stores to stock. And that doesn't even take into account that we (yet again) increased the numbers on the most recent printing of Munchkin (22 printings in ten years isn't bad at all). Yeah, we may have finally defeated the "sorry, we're out of that one again" problem.

At least, I sure hope so.
