July 18, 2020: Jolene? Jolene!

My good reader: If thou art a medievalist, or even medievalist-adjacent, thou wilt enjoy this cover of Dolly Parton's "Jolene." It is in bardcore style – that is, one takes a piece of more-or-less modern music, and performs it as a medieval or Renaissance musician might have done.

The artist is Hildegard von Blingin'. I pray that she may continue upon the good path upon which her feet are set.
