January 23, 2015: John Hill

John Hill, creator of Squad Leader, died last week. Squad Leader was one of the cornerstones of modern wargaming, and it deserves to be on the table at every game convention.

I did not know John as well as I'd liked to, so I'll yield the floor to Gerald Swick at the Armchair General.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made online to the American Heart Association In Loving Memory of John Evans Hill.
