Two of Networks
Network symbols float above the green fields of the Farm where much of the Silicon Valley's new tech is incubated and cultivated. The tower is the Farm's most conspicuous landmark, though the institution itself is largely superfluous to the Silicon Valley Zeitgeist. It's not even architecture, actually - it's a receiver for transmissions from the planet Nebulon. Aliens get their jollies beaming wacky ideas to this so-called conservative think-tank, a sort of cosmic prank phone-call. Who but space aliens could have come up with "trickle-down economics"? Feel free to visit, but don't forget your lead-lined helmet. You have been warned. Distraction, oversight, brooding. Reversed: fresh insight.
