A Letter "Home"

Dear "Mom",
I know it's been forever since I've written you, and I didn't want
you to think I'd forgotten about you. How is everything going? I've heard
that your followers have grown over the past decade! I'm happy for you,
honestly. Peace and harmony are so needed these days, you know. I've often
thought that if you could get the different circles and orders to work
together better, they could be a real force for peaceful change in the
world.
Things have been going pretty well for me, too. I ran into an old
friend last week (the one you always thought was cute), and we had dinner
and talked about old times. And, of course, this time of year is always a
busy time for me - so much to do, so little time to do it, and so much joy
to be had in the doing. I also just heard of this scientist who's doing
wonderful things with controlled pollenation (using trained bees, believe
it or not!), so I'm pretty excited about that.
I'll wrap this up now, since I know you're busy. But I hope you're
not too busy to write back! Just leave it with the same person as last
time - he's still there. I'll leave this letter unsigned - you know how
some of my friends are about you and your friends. (smile) I just hope it
makes it to you by Sunday, so I can properly wish you a Happy Mothering
Day.
With love,
Me.
