March 1, 2022: Kickstarter Reports, March 2022 Update

Our biggest Kickstarter news is Steve Jackson's Munchkin Presents Batman, a new stand-alone Munchkin game featuring the Caped Crusader. The project is scheduled to launch later today and the game is being offered to backers in the U.S., Canada, EU, and UK. The game includes over 250 cards, giving you the equivalent of a basic game and one expansion right out of the core box. Stretch goals, if unlocked, add more swag to the Kickstarter edition of the game.

In other Kickstarter news, the word is "fulfillment" – and lots of it! All four of our active projects are in some stage of wrapping up the printing, waiting for printed games to reach the warehouse, or mailing out packages to project supporters. The global printing and shipping headaches continue to plague us, but we're very close to seeing all currently open projects shifting to the "done!" column.

• 557 backers and on schedule
• The BackerKit survey is now closing and all items are at print. We expect this one to deliver on schedule.

GURPS Girl Genius

• October 20 (2021) to November 8 (2021)
• 2,915 backers and (still) ahead of schedule
• The shipment of books to the U.S. was delayed; it was expected in late February, but now we're looking at a late March delivery. PDFs, as well as EU and UK print rewards, have already been delivered.

Random Fun Generator 2, Dice Games from Steve Jackson Games

• September 23 (2021) to September 30 (2021)
• 1,533 backers and ahead of schedule
• The print rewards are shipping now from our fulfillment partner in Georgia. This is the last time this entry will appear on this report.

Car Wars Sixth Edition by Steve Jackson Games

• November 29 (2019) to January 6 (2020)
• 3,936 backers, behind schedule
• International shipping started in January. Canadian rewards have been delivered to backers while EU and UK rewards will soon start their long journey across the ocean. Australia and the rest of the world are in the works. If all goes well, Warehouse 23 will finish all of their work on this project before the end of the month.

Once the next project comes to a close, we have even more planned to take to Kickstarter in 2022. Wiz-War is moving up the ladder and should be ready for crowdfunding before summer, and the new Pocket Box project is patiently waiting its turn. We have a few other small projects to sprinkle in here and there, so please follow both Steve Jackson Games and Warehouse 23 on Kickstarter so that you don't miss anything.
