February 1, 2021: Top Ten On Warehouse 23 For December

2020 is finally over! Last year was a rough one for everyone, and Warehouse 23 was no exception. While we aren't 100% back to normal (we had to change a few things around here and then were closed for a while due to the pandemic), we will continue to offer our great games! December is usually our busiest month, so let's see what sold the most on Warehouse 23! No surprise that our Munchkin line held six of the top ten in Units Sold! The new Illuminati Expansion grabs the top spot, with the base game also cracking the list. An awesome accessory for any GURPS player and our new Pyramid Mask round out the top ten. 

Even as the lights were dimmed in the Warehouse for the holiday season, the digital world kept on spinning, providing instant downloadable goodies around the clock. GURPS Dungeon Fantasy remained popular in December, with the latest collection of magic items (Mixed Blessings) taking the top units-sold slot alongside two ready-to-use encounters: The Carnival of Madness and The Room. Magic was also at the front of fans' minds with GURPS Magic: The Least of Spells, an assortment of low-powered magical effects that can spice up any campaign. GURPS Classic: Goblins – the GURPS Third Edition setting that mixes Georgian England with mischievous monsters – made a strong debut in its digital form, as did new offerings from Amarillo Design Bureau for Star Fleet Battles. The Discworld Roleplaying Game was also popular – perhaps spurred by sales of the similarly flavored Goblins release, or perhaps as a meaty ready-to-use RPG that's great to read during long winter nights. In addition to perennial favorites such as GURPS Character Assistant software, the GURPS Basic Set, and The Fantasy Trip Legacy Edition, there were some surprises – in particular, GURPS Classic: Cyberpunk leapt from the shadows (maybe folks were in a dystopian futuristic mood in December).
