[House Rule: Full Eidetics are allowed to use odd numbers (e.g., 1.5, 3.5) of points when they will be quadrupled into something more sensible.] Conversions:Fantasy:Like most computer experts, Selene really doesn't fit into a fantasy world without a lot of re-vamping. With her spectacular memory, she might become a scholar/philosopher, or if you can scrape together the points for some Magical Aptitude (consider Star Magery), she could specialize in the Knowledge College. Modern and Near Future:Alter the tech levels of skills to fit. Possibly the strangest member of the crew, Selene has a photographic memory, and a tendency to spend long hours with the computer. She often forgets what she is supposed to do, if it doesn't interest her. [This is one of the first versions of Selene Holmes; a subsequent version went on to become one of the more spectacular characters in our Space Campaign (Selene Holmes (A)) - eventually turning into a corporate president (small corporation) in her own right, inventer of TL+1 minifacs / living metal, sensors, computers, and a really cool stealth system. (Selene Holmes (B)) In the times when she's actually been played, Selene was born on Byte (out of Space Atlas 1), and therefore has a few gaps in her otherwise perfect memory. Her little Delusion actually affects her behavior noticably (though the reason for some eccentricities isn't always obvious) - she plays the Violin; she has a little knowledge of Law, Forensics, and Criminology; and she routinely "fixes" library databases so that they stop putting the canon books about Sherlock Holmes under "fiction."] There's a varient of Selene on a fringe-merchanter ship: Serena Hawkins.
