Yikes, another Cheapass game, and this one has almost a full paperback-sized page of rules! Relax, it's only one, single-sided page, strangely referred to as a rule book. Go figure. This sort of thinking is not unusual from James Ernest and his crew at Cheapass games, after all they do have collectible catalogs each with a different free game printed within the pages. Bizarre, yet oh so cool. Attitude, fun, cheap packaging, and quality products are the hallmarks of Cheapass products. The Big Cheese is no different.In The Big Cheese you are . . . well, rats. But not just any rat, you're a rising VP at a huge multinational corporation, vying with other ruthless VPs to become the new President of Rat Financial Incorporated. Each of the players has ten flunkies represented by chips (not included) and uses them to bid against other players to control valuable work projects, represented by one of 36 cards (included). The winner of the bidding takes the card and places his flunkies on the project removing one each turn representing the work the flunkies perform as the project nears completion. Chips/flunkies assigned to a card/project may not be used to bid upon new projects. Once a project matures, the player rolls a die type (not included) represented by a number on the card, and get a number of points equal to the die roll. Once a certain point total is reached that lucky VP is appointed . . .
