For those of you out there who aren't already familiar with the game, Nephilim is a roleplaying game of occult intrigue and adventure. The main premise of the game is that occult magicks pervade our world and that human secret societies are engaged in a hidden war with an immortal race known as the Nephilim. The Nephilim are an immortal, magical race who inhabit human forms, or similacra, while striving for their own enlightenment and a state of grace known only as Agartha. There are many different types of Nephilim for players to choose from.

These immortal beings have lived among us throughout our history. Most Nephilim have lived out several lifetimes, and have gained experiences unique to many different time periods, providing one of the most unique, and coolest, facets of a Nephilim character. Chronicle of the Awakenings, a previous Nephilim product, detailed many of the eras important to the struggle between mankind and the secret beings who live alongside them. The newest Nephilim book, Secret Societies, deals primarily with the hidden underworld of the occult and the human societies who are committed to fighting this shadow war.

Within this domain move the powerful and mysterious secret societies, organizations which are at least partially aware of the "true nature" of the world. Some societies use their knowledge and influence to aid the Nephilim on their quest for Agartha. . . .
