The second in a series of three volumes, Aerial Adventure Guide Volume Two: Sellaine, Jewel Of The Clouds continues where Volume One left off. While the first covered characters and basics of aerial adventures (including a generic detailing of worlds set in clouds), this book describes specific locations that can be dropped into any ongoing campaign that wants to incorporate sky kingdoms and the like.
The first few pages go into specific details about what is required to use the book specifically, and cloud realms in general. This section is solid, and gives food for thought to would-be world builders or those hoping to introduce airy realms into their games. For example, how much contact is there between the ground below and the realms above? If the sky kingdoms are a force to be reckoned with, then why has no one noticed them before? Or if they aren't, then how are adventurers supposed to learn of them so they can start exploring? Many possibilities are explored, with the book presenting its recommendations. Although this book shares some broad strokes with the first volume, most of the material is charting new territory or exploring ideas more thoroughly.
The next -- and largest -- section details the Jewel of the Clouds promised on the cover, Sellaine. This large elven cloud city houses 15,000 inhabitants in its . . .
