Literally "the book of chevaliers/respected class", Librum Equitis is a collection of prestige classes designed for effortless use in any fantasy setting. A print version of an earlier PDF product of the same name, it represents the first release by Ambient d20 Games for Mystic Eye Games.

When done well, prestige classes are a valuable gaming resource for DMs and players alike. They represent the infinite options upon which the d20 System is based, add depth to characters, and also provide valuable insight into the specific game setting. However, there is a dark underside to prestige classes as well; those done poorly are little more than exploitative wastes of space used to pad books.

In a crowded gaming field, there are ample examples of both. This simple truth is mirrored in Librum Equitis.

Production values are topnotch, providing a formidable first impression. The cover painting by Jhoniel Centeno is simply stunning, and the trio of interior artists maintain the level of quality.

Similarly, layout is thoroughly professional; simple, effective, and subtly aesthetic. Editing is by far the best yet seen in a Mystic Eye Games product, with none of the typos and careless errors that occasionally marred earlier releases. Finally, the typeset offers an effortless read while still providing value for the buyers' buck, again unlike some earlier Mystic Eye Games releases.
