August 30, 2020: A Personal Kickstarter Win

If anything, 2020 has been a productive year. Gaining one or two hours each day by not driving into the office has given me more time for myself that, when combined with sleeping an hour or two less each night, I've turned into the opportunity to create more stuff. In addition to providing concepts and ideas for office projects (such as the upcoming Random Fun Generator, which came about when I discussed the high-concept with Sam and Randy), as well as The Infinite Arena, I have also used the extra time to create and publish fantasy RPG support.

Thanks to the support of Kickstarter backers, combined with the bonus time from no traffic and less sleep, I have run -- and delivered! -- a total of eight personal Kickstarter campaigns since January. What's better still is that the supporters have been a great source of encouragement, with many of them posting extremely kind comments about the work and motivating me to deliver the best books and PDFs possible.

I'll be launching project #9 soon, which is a bit of an experiment and an attempt at meeting a request: a hardcover collection of some of the PDFs I have created over the last year. If you're at all interested in the upcoming campaign, please follow The Book of Collected Rumors on Kickstarter today. I have no idea whether or not the project will be successful, but I am certain to have a great time running the project and, if it succeeds, producing the work.
