October 10, 2014 – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AUSTIN, Texas (October 10, 2014) – Steve Jackson Games and Topps have partnered to create a pair of games based on Topps' Garbage Pail Kids trading cards. At New York Comic Con, October 9, Steve Jackson Games unveiled Garbage Pail Kids: Super Snot Shots, a limited-edition dexterity game that's as gross as it sounds. Fans at NYCC can pick the game up at booth 2265 during the convention, and they can find it at Warehouse 23 (warehouse23.com) for a limited time afterward.
In 2015, Steve Jackson Games will release Garbage Pail Kids: Disgusting Dice Game, a brand-new game from the makers of Mars Attacks: The Dice Game. This game uses classic Garbage Pail Kids art, has custom dice, and will be released in time to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Garbage Pail Kids trading cards.
"I've always loved Garbage Pail Kids," said Phil Reed, COO of Steve Jackson Games. "I grew up with them, and to be able to make games based on those cards is a dream come true. I can't wait for fans to see these games. They're gross!"
