June 13, 2026: Big Fun, Little Money – It's The Roll Big Or Go Home 2 Bundle!

What if you wanted a new roleplaying game? What if you wanted a lot of new RPGs? What if you wanted a lot of RPGs . . . for not a lot of money – and you can support a charity at the same time?

That sounds like a win-win-win situation . . . and the Roll Big or Go Home 2 Bundle.

We're thrilled to be part of this downloadable PDF offer made available through the good folks at Humble Bundle. Depending on what level you participate in, you might find yourself a proud owner of the beloved Wanderhome, the award-winning Sleepaway and the Uncanny expansion, or the classic In Nomine core rulebook.

Oh, and up to 50 other amazing games from other publishers.

You'll have joy, you'll have fun, if you buy before it's done – and that's June 25, the scheduled end! Pick up the Roll Big or Go Home 2 Bundle today, and roll big!

June 12, 2026: Finally, Squarescape And Hexscape STLs

As of about noon EST today (June 12), you can (finally) buy the complete Squarescape and Hexscape STL dungeon-building sets on Warehouse 23. I apologize for the multi-year delay since I first told you about this project . . . we've taken a long time making it as good as we could, and 2024-2025 were Interesting Years.

But the sets are being launched now, even though the web page needs more photography, because I'm up against a deadline. To secure the trademarks, SJ Games must make its first bona fide interstate sales today!

So, to get everyone's attention: Until midnight CST on June 12, each set will be only $10. After that, the retail will be $25 per set, or $45 if you buy them both together. So help me out, and grab them now . . . give them a try, and let us all know what you think on the forums. We will continue to improve and support both releases. The improved versions, as always . . . [more]

June 11, 2026: GURPS Ring Of Fire Is Now Live On BackerKit

It's time to make your pledge for an all-new GURPS book – GURPS Ring of Fire, only on BackerKit! It's based on Eric Flint's 1632 series (also known as Ring of Fire), which encompasses hundreds of books, magazines, and anthologies, making it the largest alt-history setting ever created!

Residents of a small town – Grantville, West Virginia – are transported back in time and space to 1632 Germany during the Thirty Years' War. What happens next is up to you! This hardcover book (also available as a PDF) gives players everything they need to create thrilling campaigns. Included are 43 biographies; 29 character templates; advice for equipment, weapons, and vehicles; plus campaign scenarios and more!

Steve Jackson Games collaborated with Baen Books on the project, and it features contributions from several writers of the series – Griffin Barber, Charles E. Gannon, Walter H. Hunt, . . .

June 10, 2026: Wear Steve Jackson Games Apparel In Pride!

We're deep within Pride Month, and we hope all who celebrate are doing so with . . . um . . . pride! If you'd like to combine flying the rainbow colors with your love of Steve Jackson Games, we humbly offer a few possibilities: the Rainbow Eye-in-Pyramid Pride Pin, the Rainbow Eye-in-Pyramid Pride Shirt, and the Gaymes Rainbow Eye-in-Pyramid Pride Shirt . . . note the spelling in that last one's proclamation of "STEVE JACKSON GAYMES"!

Whether you're showing your personal Pride or just happy to be an ally, our Pride apparel is perfect for wearing in June or the other 11 months of the year. All proceeds from these Pride designs are donated to the Lambda Legal civil-rights organization.

As long as we're pointing you toward Warehouse 23, we'd be remiss if we didn't also make note of the other multi-colored goodies on display. While not explicitly part of the Pride collection, they are . . . [more]

June 9, 2026: All Aboard The Last Train To Bremen . . .

With Last Train To Bremen available for purchase on Warehouse 23, I wanted to write a Daily Illuminator about this beautiful game and what brought it to Possum Creek.

Caro and I have been friends since I started in TTRPGs, back when they were working on I'm Sorry Did You Say Street Magic and I was first publishing Sleepaway. I was lucky enough to get to schedule a playtest of Last Train To Bremen in 2024 the week or so before it was first released. I was immediately charmed by it. I played the Rooster (of course, no surprise for those who know me), and I was suckered in by a TTRPG that could so elegantly tell such an emotionally involved story in such a compact way. I very nearly beat the Devil in my first playthrough, an honor I'd never have again.

Since then, Last Train To Bremen has been my go-to game with my friends when we want something that's both quick to get to . . .
